Five JRG Students Art Displayed Regionally, Three Had Artwork Selected for Display at State Capitol

The Wisconsin Art Education Association sponsors several regional art shows across the state in the month of February. Five students from J.R. Gerritts Middle School had their artwork selected for display at the North East Regional Art Show at the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum in Neenah from February 25 to March 4, 2017. The students who had artwork on display were: Sadey Havel, Emily Williams, Nicole Benedict, Nola McDonald, and Trystian Weeks. From this Regional Art Show, Sadey, Nola and Trystian’s artwork pieces have been selected to advance to the Wisconsin State Art Show in Madison, on display at the Capitol Rotunda from March 27 to March 31. The State Art Show is done in conjunction with Youth Art Month, celebrated during the month of March across the United States. Great job Gators pursuing your potential in the arts!
