PARAPROFESSIONAL POSITION

The progressive Kimberly Area School District has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time, Special Education One to One Paraprofessional to work at Westside Elementary School. The right candidate will work one to one with a student with behavioral and cognitive disabilities in supporting educational programming under the direction of one of the special education teachers, as well as assisting with tasks such as supervising transitions from class to class, assistance during recess and supervision tasks assigned by the special education teacher.  The hours for this position are from 8:15am to 3:45am, Monday through Friday, for a total of 7 hours per day and 35 hours per week.   The pay is $12.86 per hour.  This position will begin as soon as possible.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITION

The progressive Kimberly Area School District has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time Learning Services Department Coordinator to work at the Administrative Building. The Learning Service Department Coordinator provides executive administrative assistance to the Assistant Superintendent and leads the office personnel.  The person in this position will supervise 2 part-time secretaries, coordinate and manage all department goals and objectives; manage and administrate the entire summer school program; and functions as a confidential employee.  The right candidate will have a minimum of a 2-year associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.  This is a 12 month year-round position.

The pay range for this position is $39,500 to $44,000, based on experience.  This position will begin as soon as possible.

The progressive Kimberly Area School District has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time School Psychologist to work at both the elementary and intermediate school buildings.  The right candidate will have experience in case managing, assessment, working with student concerns, and knowledge of Response to Intervention practices.  The right candidate must hold or be able to obtain Wisconsin licensure for School Psychologist.  This position will begin in August.

The District is looking to fill many positions on a daily basis. Qualified applicants will have their teaching license or a four year bachelor's degree. The District will sponsor selected candidates with a four year degree in attaining their substitute teaching license. The pay for this position is $100 per day.

Wrestling Coach

  • Location: J.R. Gerritts Middle School

The Kimberly Area School District is looking for a Wrestling Coach.  The right candidate will be knowledgeable of the WIAA rules and regulations for wrestling.


Food Service - Substitute Workers

Chartwells, an independent contractor for Kimberly School District, provides school lunches for all students at KASD.  We currently have openings for substitute workers.  Shifts range for 2-5 hours per day.  You can work while our children are at school and be off when they are!  Food Service workers are laid off every summer and called back in the fall.  Responsibilities can include light cooking, serving lunch, cashiering, bookkeeping, and clean up.  Benefits are also offered.  If you enjoy working with children and need a flexible schedule, give us a call at 423-4159.  Applications may be picked up in the main office at Kimberly High School.  Just ask for a food service application.
