Marketing Teacher

The progressive Kimberly Area School District has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time Marketing Teacher to work at Kimberly High School.  This position includes instruction of Sports and Entertainment Marketing, Work Place Coop, and Co-Teaching a School to Work course.  Additionally, this person will serve as our Youth Apprenticeship and School to Work coordinator.   This requires placement and support of students from other CTE programs, completion of Youth Apprenticeship documentation, and assisting in the planning of school to work opportunities for students.  Experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. Co-curricular positions are also available.  This position will begin on August 25, 2015.

The progressive Kimberly Area School District has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time Computer Technician I.  The right candidate will be responsible for: maintaining and monitoring end-user workstations on local area networks, performing a variety of maintenance and software installations, providing support and training tasks to end-users.  The selected candidate will provide support to staff on all organization-supported applications, troubleshoot computer problems, determine source and advise on appropriate action.  This position consists of complete application project-based work.  This position will begin in July of 2015.  

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or 2 to 3 years information technology experience preferred
  • A+ certification preferred

The Kimberly Area School District is looking for Substitute Special Education Paraprofessionals to work throughout the Kimberly Area School District.  The right candidates will be added to the daily substitute list and be available to fill in when needed.  The selected candidate will assist students with learning, behavioral, and cognitive disabilities in supporting education programming under the direction of special education teachers, as well as assisting the physical tasks such as putting on and taking off outerwear, moving from room to room, and using the lavatory.  The pay for these position is $9.00 per hour.

The District is looking to fill many positions on a daily basis. Qualified applicants will have their teaching license or a four year bachelor's degree. The District will sponsor selected candidates with a four year degree in attaining their substitute teaching license. The pay for this position is $100 per day.

Food Service - Substitute Workers

Chartwells, an independent contractor for Kimberly School District, provides school lunches for all students at KASD.  We currently have openings for substitute workers.  Shifts range for 2-5 hours per day.  You can work while our children are at school and be off when they are!  Food Service workers are laid off every summer and called back in the fall.  Responsibilities can include light cooking, serving lunch, cashiering, bookkeeping, and clean up.  Benefits are also offered.  If you enjoy working with children and need a flexible schedule, give us a call at 423-4159.  Applications may be picked up in the main office at Kimberly High School.  Just ask for a food service application.
