Principal's Message
Welcome to Janssen Elementary, home of the Bulldogs. We
are a school community where our staff and families work together
to serve our most important clients--our students. As a
school community, we espouse the 'Janssen Way' each and every day
of the school year to teach and foster citizenship. We
believe that each student is a learner. To facilitate this
learning, we provide substantive, learning experiences that are
aligned to our KASD Plan of Excellence and build efficacy in
student engagement and growth.
We have high learning expectations for our students and our
staff. Our staff's learning is predicated on how to best meet
the individual needs, strengths, and interests of our
students. Through collaborative, professional development, we
challenge our assumptions to build our competency and refine our
practices to increase our competence when working with our
students.
Because of what we do as a community for our students, our
students embrace the culture at Janssen Elementary and will
excitingly share with you our 'Janssen Way' refrain: You
Rock, Woof! Woof!
