Mapleview's Secret Service Club Making a Visible Impact in the Community

This semester, Mapleview Intermediate School has 134 students in the Secret Service Club!  Students have volunteered at the 4K Center for Literacy (they call themselves Bobcat Buddies), played bingo with local nursing home residents, participated in a Halloween Dance at St. Paul’s Elder Home, held a Trick or Treat collection for UNICEF, baked desserts for Harbor House, made cards for police officers & fire fighters, and helped at the Kimberly Public Library. This week, they raked leaves in the community.

Later this semester, they will be ringing bells for the Salvation Army, making and donating tied fleece blankets, caroling, doing more Bobcat Buddies activities, and attending more bingo events at a nursing home.

While they call themselves a Secret Service Club, their contributions to make our community better are anything but secret. So proud of these Bobcats for helping others!
