Summer School 2017

Welcome to the Kimberly Summer School Website. We strive to provide fun, exciting and educational opportunities for your child. Classes are open to all children living within the boundaries of the Kimberly Area School District and/or those currently open enrolled to KASD. Students from one of the consortium school districts (Appleton, Brillion, Freedom, Hilbert, Hortonville, Kaukauna, Little Chute, Menasha, Neenah, or Shiocton) who would like to attend summer school in Kimberly can pre-register with the link below. Jodi Neuber will obtain the appropriate approval form from your home district after registration.

(PLEASE NOTE: A student's spot is reserved once add is clicked on the correct class.  If efunds (payment site) locks up on registration day due to the large amount of traffic, you are welcome to go in at a later time to pay.  As long as the class was added, the student's class spot is saved.)

Woodland Summer School Dates:

June 12 to July 7 (No classes on July 4)

All 4K-8 enrichment and recommended summer school classes will be held at Woodland Elementary and Woodland Intermediate Schools from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

*9th grade recommended classes will be held at Kimberly High School from June 12 to 30 (8:30 - 11:30 a.m.)

High School Summer School Dates:

Session 1: June 12-30 (8:00 - 11:30 a.m.)

Session 2: July 3-21 *No classes on July 4 (8:00 - 11:45 a.m.)

Grades 9-12 credit recovery classes are held at Kimberly High School. To register for credit recovery courses please contact Student Services at Kimberly High School 920-687-3024 ext. 3283

Mark Your Calendar!


  • Opens at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 11th for all classes/camps with the exception of 5th Grade Band and Band Council
  • 5th Grade Band: Opens at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 1st for Woodland and Monday, May 22nd for Mapleview
  • Band Council: Opens at 9:00 a.m. on TBD 



  • Closed 4:00 p.m. on May 26 for all Woodland summer school classes that run from June 12 through July 7
  • Please note: To add or drop a class after this date, you must contact Learning Services at (920) 788-7900 or email
  • There will be no refunds after May 19th
  • All other summer school classes/camps: Close 1 week prior to start date
  • Make payment online
  • Dropped off at the Kimberly Administration Building, address below (cash or check)
  • Dropped off at your child's school office. Attn: Jodi Neuber, Summer School (check only)

Bus Transportation

Registration for bussing will open March 11 at 9:00 a.m.  Parents can register for bussing the same way they register for summer school classes.  There will be 4 bussing class options.

Transportation - Janssen

A bus will pick up at Janssen at 7:30 a.m. and at Westside at 7:30 a.m., arriving at Woodland at 7:50 a.m. For the return trip, the busses will leave Woodland at 12:40 p.m., arrive at Janssen at 12:50 p.m. and Westside at 12:50 p.m. Space is limited

*Most classes will begin at 8:30 a.m., however, if your child is riding the bus, they will automatically be registered in the class for their age group from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.


  • Courses are on a first come, first serve basis
  • There is no wait list. Once a class is full it will be closed and no longer appear on your screen
  • For assistance, the district office will be open from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. on March 11
  • Classes can be added or dropped during the registration period
  • To drop a class after registration closes, please email or call the Summer School Coordinator

Friday, June 9: Open House at Woodland School from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

  • Please remember to bring your child's schedule to the Open House
  • Staff members will be available in the office to address any scheduling conflicts or answer questions
  • Please be aware that teachers will not be in their rooms during Open House; however, rooms will be open so you may still become familiar with where your classes are held and what your rooms look like
