Accomplishments in Athletics
Our mission is to ensure that every student is given the opportunity to reach their potential through academics, the arts and co-curricular activities. Below is a summary of the student accomplishments in athletics for the fall:
- Academic All-State honors were earned by students participating in Fall sports. A total of 38 students, members of the following teams, were recognized:
- Girls Golf: Emma Carew, Carrie Kroner, Madison Liston, Mackenzie Retzlaff and Kendra Schreiber
- Girls Cross Country: Olivia Eisch, Ashley Handschke, Ashtyn Johnson, Mada Laundrie, Lauren Mayfield, Lindsay Rooyakkers and Cydnee Van Zeeland
- Boys Cross Country: Isaac Benz, Will Demerath, Rowen Ellenberg, Jack Fitzgerald, Logan Hartman, Jesse Lambrecht and Eric Trempe
- Football: Brett Anderson, Mitchell Armstrong, Mason Bartol, Charlie Biolo, Logan Bruss, Ryan Carney, Garrod Larson, Kyle Mayfield, Logan McCormick, Zach Miller, Parker Schuh, Kyle Simonis, Austin Skalecki, Tyler Staerkel, Adam Stage, Bennett Thies, Danny VandenBoom, Tyler Verstegen and Alex Warzyn
- In an exciting second half come back, the boys’ varsity football team persevered and brought home the Division 1 Championship. It is was a 4-peat achievement for this record-breaking team.
- The Kimberly High School girls swim team, a co-op team with Appleton West, had a great season ending with Meghan Harper and Rebecca Norum competing at State, along with two students from Appleton West.
- Seven girls and seven boys on the cross country team competed at State: Ashtyn Johnson, Olivia Eisch, Mada Laundrie, Lauren Mayfield, Lindsay Rooyakkers, Ashley Handschke, Cydnee Van Zeeland, Isaac Benz, Rowen Ellenberg, Jack Fitzgerald, Will Demerath, Jesse Lambrecht, Logan Hartman, and Eric Trempe.
