The progressive Kimberly Area School District has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time, Special Education Paraprofessional to work at Kimberly High School.  The right candidate will work primarily with students with intellectual disabilities in supporting educational and/or community programming under the direction of one of the special education teachers.  The selected candidate will work from 7:20am to 3:05pm, Monday through Friday, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch, for a total of 7.25 hours per day and 36.25 hours per week.   The pay for this position is $13.25 per hour.  This position will begin as soon as possible and through June 4, 2021.  This position is for the 2020-2021 school year only.

Library Media Center (LMC) Paraprofessional – Part-time

The progressive Kimberly Area School District has a rewarding opportunity for a part-time Library Media Center (LMC) Paraprofessional to work at J.R. Gerritts Middle School.  The right candidate will support the Library Media Specialist in assisting teachers and students to effectively use the media center as a learning resource.  This position will also assist with lunch and recess supervision. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 9:30am to 1:00pm, for a total of 3.5 hours per day and 17.5 hours per week.  This position will begin as soon as possible.

The progressive Kimberly Area School District has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time Custodian/Events Coordinator at Kimberly High School.  The selected candidate will be responsible for the coordination, preparation, and takedown of after school activities; be responsible for coordinating the assignments of the second shift cleaning personnel; and be responsible for the second shift cleaning and general maintenance work for the District. The right candidate will provide a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient facility.

The hours for this position are from 11:00am to 7:30pm, Monday through Friday, with and unpaid 30 minute lunch, for a total of 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.  The pay for this position is $18.50 per hour.  This position will begin in as soon as possible.

Heart of the Valley YMCA

Heart of the Valley YMCA, an independent contractor for the Kimberly Area School District, provides before and after school child care at our Elementary Schools. The YMCA is currently looking for applicants to work after school hours, 2-5 days per week. Free child care in the program is available for selected candidates whose own children are 5-12 years old. Free YMCA membership programs for employees. Applications are available online at www.ymcafoxcities.org.

Food Service - Substitute Workers

Chartwells, an independent contractor for Kimberly School District, provides school lunches for all students at KASD. We currently have openings for substitute workers. Shifts range for 2-5 hours per day. You can work while our children are at school and be off when they are! Food Service workers are laid off every summer and called back in the fall. Responsibilities can include light cooking, serving lunch, cashiering, bookkeeping, and clean up. Benefits are also offered. If you enjoy working with children and need a flexible schedule, give us a call at 423-4159. Applications may be picked up in the main office at Kimberly High School. Just ask for a food service application.

Building Services Group

Custodial/Cleaning Services

Building Services Group, a valued independent contractor for the Kimberly Area School District, provides cleaning and maintenance services for all district facilities. We are currently hiring full and part time, 1st and 2nd shift custodians. Responsibilities will include; providing a high level of customer service to all occupants of the buildings, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, bathroom cleaning, disposal of garbage and recyclables, and set -up/take-down of school events. Occasional overtime is available throughout the week and weekends!
