School Board Election Information
- Regular business hours for the Kimberly Area School District Office are Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The office will be open until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2026 for acceptance of ballot access documents.
- The District office will be closed on December 24, 25, 31, and January 1.
- A Notary Public may not be available at the District office at all times, please call ahead or have your documents notarized prior to filing them.
- School Board members are elected for a 3-year term. An election is held each year on the first Tuesday in April. Additional information on ballot deadlines, forms, and contact information can be found in the links below.
- School Board members elected at the 2026 Spring Election will take office on Monday, April 27, 2026.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE SPRING ELECTION
December 1, 2025 - January 6, 2026: Candidates may begin file Ballot Access Documents
December 26, 2025: 5:00 p.m. deadline for incumbents to file Notice of Non-Candidacy
December 24, 25, 31 and January 1 the District office is CLOSED
January 6, 2026: 5:00 p.m. deadline for candidates to file documents needed for ballot eligibility (District office will stay open until 5:00 p.m. for this purpose)
February 13, 2026: 12:00 p.m. write-in candidate registration deadline for primary (if on is required)
February 17, 2026: Spring Primary (if required)
April 3, 2026, 12:00 p.m. deadline for write-in candidates to register for Spring Election
April 7, 2026: Spring Election
April 27, 2026: Newly elected Board members take office
