J.R. Gerritts Middle School’s yearbook program has been named a 2017 Jostens’ National Yearbook Program of Excellence. The National Yearbook Program of Excellence recognizes engaging yearbooks that reflect a broad representation of the student body while helping students develop 21st century skills such as communication, collaboration, and information and communication technologies (ICT) literacy.
JRG's award winning yearbook program is led by a staff of 8th grade students under the direction of teacher and advisor Aimee Froze.
"I think each yearbook staff member will admit to feeling a bit overwhelmed at times during the creation of this book,” said Froze. “However, not a single one of them ever gave up - in fact, they all rose to the challenge and created an amazing memory for all of their peers here at JRG."
