Mini-Courses offer a two-day change from traditional learning in February to provide students with real-life experiences created by our teachers and others. Each teacher is responsible for developing an experience that exposes students to some of the following:
- Important life skills
- Different careers within our community
- Understanding how businesses operate
- Communication skills
Each Mini-Course is required to include at least one of the 16 Career Clusters, aligned with our Academic and Career Planning (ACP) curriculum. Students have the ability to pick their Mini-Courses, so they are able to choose an experience that is relevant to them.
