Students at the 4K Center for Literacy went deep sea diving. Students created snorkels so they could "swim" down the hallway river into the sea (aka the gym). On their journey, they passed a friendly shark and schools of fish at work (their friends drawing on the blue paper river).
The deep sea divers then sought out sea creatures and wrote the corresponding letters on their sheet. What an imaginative way to combine reading, writing, art and movement!
