Recently, students across the District honored Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and legacy. Events and activities stretched beyond lecture, and students were encouraged to participate and engage.
Students from Westside Elementary went outside of the classroom for a day of service at St. Paul’s Assisted Living facility.
Kimberly High School’s Student Council took the time to reflect after participating in various service projects. They assembled a mural with post-its that were inscribed with everyday comforts that students may take for granted.
Several seventh and eighth-grade students from J.R. Gerritts Middle School participated in a Diversity and Inclusion workshop. The Kimberly Area School District hosted the event in partnership with Little Chute, Kaukauna, and Menasha School Districts. NBA All-Star, Sidney Moncrief presented topics including self-awareness, integrity with communication, and building relationships.
