Congratulations to Cole Brans (mason) and Nick Kobal (mason tender), both Seniors at Kimberly High School, for taking 1st place at the Spec Mix Bricklayer 500 Junior Competition! They laid a total of 90 bricks in 20 minutes. This was a regional competition for professional
masons with an added competition for Wisconsin high school students. As a bonus, all KHS Building Construction 2 students were able to attend the event. Students explored careers in the construction industry, participated in hands-on masonry activities and developed career connections with future employers.
