The 4K Center for Literacy students were paid a special visit by the Kimberly Fire Department and Emergency Medical Response Team in observance of the 2021 Fire Prevention Week. This year’s campaign theme was Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety. The team educated students about simple but important actions they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe. “Hear a beep, get on your feet! Hear a chirp, make a change!” These conversations provided students a great opportunity to go home and refresh their own families’ escape plans.
