Kimberly, Wis. January 24, 2023 – The Kimberly Area School District (KASD) is pleased to announce the promotion of Brooke Vander Hyden to Principal of the 4K Center for Literacy. Vander Hyden was named Assistant to the Principal in June of 2022 and previously worked as a teacher for KASD within the Triumph Program.
"I am grateful for the opportunity to continue the work that has been done for our youngest learners at the 4K Center," said Vander Hyden. "I look forward to approaching opportunities for continuous improvement with a fresh perspective."
Vander Hyden earned her undergraduate degree in Secondary Education with a minor in Spanish from St. Norbert College. Vander Hyden then went on to receive her master’s degree in Administrative Leadership and holds both Principal licensure and Director of Instruction licensure from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
"Brooke has proven herself as a leader and she brings a unique perspective that will align well with our overall mission," said Dr. Robert Mayfield, Superintendent of the Kimberly Area School District. "Her positive energy, passion for education, and dedication to students are an excellent fit for our District."
