Kimberly, Wis. – The Kimberly Area School District (KASD) is proud to report the success of the latest FORE! Our Kids Golf Outing. The event, held on June 13th at High Cliff Golf Course in Sherwood, raised over $29,500. Thanks to the generous contributions of participants, sponsors, and donors over the past 21 years, this event has raised nearly $300,000 to support a variety of youth organizations and activities.
The proceeds are distributed to several groups that promote alcohol— and drug-free activities for students in the school district and community. Those benefitting from the fundraiser include District groups and events such as the Graduation Celebration, Post Prom, JRG ROCKS, and PromiseMakers at Kimberly High School as well as community events.
Supporting these youth programs gave over 140 golfers a great reason to hit the green. Additionally, nearly 80 businesses, organizations, and individuals supported the event through sponsorships and donations. Twenty dedicated volunteers also contributed time and effort to ensure the event's success. It was a community-wide effort to make it a successful golf outing.
