Students Participate in African Heritage Emerging Student Leaders Institute

Congratulations to these 7 KHS students who participated in the African Heritage Emerging Student Leaders Institute!

So proud of our Papermakers who are pursuing their leadership potential by participating in the recent African Heritage Emerging Student Leaders Institute (AHESLI). The following Kimberly High School students participated: Elisha Brown, Kiana Davis, Janel Gilmore, Sofia Gunaratnam, Trenton Janssen, Eli Manns and Marzel Williams.

AHESLI leaders are involved in culturally relevant learning experiences that empower them to be successful and reach their potential. As leaders, they are exposed to college admission, career exploration, and identity development workshops. There was a great turnout of hundreds of emerging leaders from many local school districts and colleges!
