Kimberly, Wis. – May 2, 2023 – Aubrey Woodrow, daughter of Matt and Katie Woodrow and a junior at Kimberly High School (KHS), has earned something extraordinary - a perfect score of 36 on the ACT test. Nationally, while the actual number of students earning a composite score of 36 varies from year to year, on average, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students who take the ACT earns the top score.

The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science. Each test is scored on a scale of 1-36, and a student's composite score is the average of the four test scores. Aubrey received a 36 on each of the tests that make up the composite score.

The 16-year-old’s initial reaction to seeing her perfect score “I was thrilled when I first got the news of my score,” said Aubrey. “It was really rewarding to learn that all my hard work and preparations had paid off. I took the ACT my sophomore year, reviewed my problem areas, and did practice tests to improve.”

ACT test scores are accepted by all major U.S. colleges. Exceptional scores of 36 provide colleges with evidence of student readiness for the academic rigors that lie ahead. Following high school Aubrey plans to attend a 4-year college and pursue a career in computer science.
