I am so happy to be the school counselor for such an amazing school. I know that you will truly enjoy your time with us. Background: My formal education involved earning my bachelors degree in psychology from Marquette University and then my masters degree in school counseling from the University of WisconsinOshkosh. While earning my education I worked as a camp counselor, soccer coach, and a youth mentor before beginning my school counselor position at Woodland Intermediate the 2006-2007 school year.

Personal: An Oshkosh native, my husband and I are raising our 4 boys there now, too! We love to be active and often are spending our time at our son’s sporting events. I even continue to play in soccer and bowling leagues in my spare time. When I am not running around, I enjoy quiet time reading and relaxing with family and friends.

School Counseling Services: At Woodland Intermediate I provide a variety of services for children and families:

• Career planning group conferencing (6th grade)
• Classroom guidance lessons in all homerooms covering academic, social, and career topics. 
• Community mental health referral and resource information
  • District Mental Health Resource page
• Individual problem solving or skill building sessions
• Small group counseling offered each semester
• Transition services between buildings
