Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I register my child for school?
  • What to bring to register?
    • Any special needs information
  • What and how much are the general fees?
    • The general fees are used to offset supply costs for the school (e.g. paper, school supplies, work books). 5K general fees are $20.00 and grades 1-4 fees are $30.00. Fees are subject to change annually.
  • What do I do if my child is sick and will not be at school?
    • Please report any absence to the school office at (920) 788-7915, whether sick or for any other reason. Calls should also be made if your child will be late to school. All calls should be made by 9:00 a.m. that morning. Voicemail messages can also be left at any time.
  • Can my child take medications at school?
    • Yes. There are medication forms available in the school office or online on the district website. These forms are needed for all prescription and over-the-counter medications (i.e. cough drops, pain relievers).
  • How do I know if school is closed?
    • If weather conditions dictate that there will be no school, a decision to keep the schools closed is usually made by 6:30 a.m. Parents with students in school receive a direct call, text and/or email from our auto-call system since that is the fastest way to communicate with thousands of parents at one time. Announcements will be made on the local radio stations: WAPL-105.7 FM, WHBY-1150 AM, WKFX-104.9 FM, WEMI 91.9 FM, WGEE-1360 AM, WOZZ-93.5 FM; and the local TV stations: WBAY-TV2, WFRV-TV5, WGBA-TV26, and WLUK-FOX11.
  • Can my child ride the bus?
    • Only children that are bus eligible can ride the bus. If you are not sure if your child is bus eligible, contact Lamers Bus Lines at (920) 832-8800.
