During very special Veterans Day programs, students at Sunrise, Janssen and Woodland Elementary Schools, and J.R. Gerritts Middle School, honored local veterans and their families who have served our country past to present. Through their moving stories, essays, handmade cards and songs, students expressed their gratitude to our veterans for protecting our freedom. Thank you to our veterans today, and always, who courageously serve our country.
