POSTPONED - "Future Ready: Career Paths for Middle School Students"

Update 3/25/2019 - this event is being rescheduled. We will update this post with the new details when available. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Calling all parents interested in helping middle school students become Future Ready - there's an event for you on March 26, 2019!  View a flyer with more details.

This upcoming event is presented by the Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce in partnership with local school districts. It will help middle school students with their Academic and Career Planning (ACP).

Middle school is a key period in a young person’s development. Keeping students engaged in school at this critical time helps propel them forward to a successful career. We realize that some of these important conversations about careers and the future are happening at home, and we want to provide you with options available for your middle school student.

This event will help you have a better understanding of the Academic and Career Planning (ACP) process, the cost of education - from school to work programs, to 2-year technical programs and the cost of a 4-year education.

We invite parents, students and our business community to join us as we work together to help navigate the path for our middle school students.

Still have questions? Visit this webpage for the event. Or contact Brad Demmin, a school counselor at J.R. Gerritts Middle School.
