Gators Making Connections With Careers in our Community

Natalie Heinan, tax accountant/advisor, speaking to students about Finance

As part of their Academic and Career Planning (ACP), all students at J.R. Gerritts Middle School recently participated in Community Connections.
Students heard from professionals working in the career clusters they have been focusing on the first semester: health sciences; law, public safety, corrections and security; arts, audio/visual, technology and communication, and finance. In the second semester, they will learn about four more career clusters.
The students are learning more about themselves and making connections to career clusters that could be a good fit. Many thanks to all the 16 community members who volunteered to help students learn more about careers.
