JRG Middle School Students Getting Connected to Career Ideas

A volunteer speaks to students about their career in human resources for a transportation company

As part of their Academic and Career Planning (ACP), all students at J.R. Gerritts Middle School recently participated in Community Connections.
Students heard from professionals working in the career clusters they have been focusing on this semester: education & training, information technology, business management & administration, and architecture & construction
In the first semester, they previously learned about these career clusters: health sciences; law, public safety, corrections and security; arts, audio/visual, technology and communication, and finance
The students are learning more about themselves and making connections to career clusters that could be a good fit. Many thanks to all the community members who volunteered to help students learn more about careers. View more photos from this event on our Facebook page.
